Realizing your Goals for 2009

I have recently joined a Goal Group for 2009 led by my dear friend Lisa of Harmonious Solutions. We meet once a month at Lisa's home and she leads us in meditations and exercises to help us prioritize, plan and reach our biggest goals for 2009. She is an amazing teacher and even after just one meet up I have already learned so much and am well on my way to working towards my goals.
I would love to share what I learn with her here on this blog to help you all reach your goals this year as well.
All you need to do to get started is make a list of your top 5 goals for 2009. Then get a notebook that you can dedicate to this project, a calendar, a pen and your open mind. I'll give you some time to gather your thoughts and list your top 5 goals and then we will get started with the first lesson. Just keep in mind that these are goals that we will work towards all year so don't put in tasks that will be obsolete before the year is over.

Much like the classes with the same goals in mind, the Henry Foundation sponsors refreshing, enlightening week-end Metaphysical Retreats twice per year at the Platte River State Park. The weekend agenda consists of presentations and study groups offered by various Metaphysically minded speakers, group meditations, metaphysical fellowship, hiking, and games. The emphasis is on Metaphysical growth and knowledge which, if applied, can help make one’s life go better. There is group participation and additional time for great Metaphysical discussions and fellowship during meal preparation and clean up. Participants have time to relax and to enjoy the natural beauty and peaceful serenity of the park’s rolling hills, broad-leaf forest, Platte River, and accompaning wild life. As with the classes, there is always a powerful meditation/energy circle, raising group energies to a high level, giving each person additional group energies for personal healings and blessings and healings requested for others. It is a great time for Metaphysical fellowship, exploration, presentations, meditations and discovery.

Classes (First and Third Mondays of every month at 7:00 PM) -
In alignment with the universal thought that we are all continuing to grow and change constantly, the Henry Foundation holds classes on the first and third Mondays of each month. Classes consist of metaphysical philosophies and methods for self improvement in areas that could help a person to improve or further the evolution of one’s consciousness and spiritual awareness, by addressing the inner self. Tools are offered that will help a person’s current life go better and the class ends with meditation. Once a month an invitation is extended to a guest speaker to share their metaphysical knowledge, wisdom and methods for self improvement giving members and guests an opportunity to expand their knowledge in many facets of metaphysical ideas. Since everyone is at a different level of learning, during class time, each person may receive what appears to be a special message designed for them personally as each hears to the degree of awareness in relation to where one is at on one’s own path. Following the pattern of the founder, James Edward Smith /Henry, classes end with a powerful meditation/energy circle, raising group energies to a high level, giving each person additional group energies for personal healings and blessings and healings requested for others. It is a great time for metaphysical fellowship, exploration, presentations, and meditation.
